Happy Circles Breakfast

Cirlce eggs, circle brown bread, beans in circle cup and buttered mushroom & vegetables with kapeng barako (coffee).

Hack for the circle eggs and circle bread. Use normal wide drinking glass to cut the circle bread.


Crispy Salmon pasta

Cook your penne pasta.

Take salmon skin then cut to small strips then fry till its crispy.

Saute garlic and onion. put mushrooms. Add the salmon cut to cubes. put salt, pepper and chili flakes.

Mix pasta and sauce. Then top it with the crispy salmon skin.

Tofu, mushroom and broccoli with oyster sauce

Fry tofu and cut to cubes. Saute garlic & onion. Add mushrooms till cooked. Add oyster sauce. Add water if its too thick or if you want more sauce. Simmer then add tofu and broccoli.


Vegetables in coconut milk with mashed potato

Saute vegetables. A bit of onions and garlic. Some string beans, broccoli, carrots, young corn, asparagus and bell pepper. Add as much veg as you like πŸ™‚ 

Boil the potato till its easy to mash. i dont boil my potatoes too much so its not too soft.


Trying to convert my diet from “eat-any-meat” diet to plant-based diet. So far so good. 😊 tapping myself on the shoulder. ☺️

Steamed Broccoli with Sardines

Yum steamed broccoli with sardines in spicy oil. Weirdly good. πŸ™‚


Pad Thai ala Dot

Pad thai ala dot Ingredients:

  • Rice noodles
  • Chopped garlic
  • Spring onions chopped
  • Chicken breast or shrimp
  • Bean sprouts
  • tofu – fried then sliced
  • Egg
  • Salt & pepper
  • tbsp. of peanut butter mix in half cup water
  • 4 tbsp. fish sauce 
  • tamarind mix (sinigang mix)
  • Ground/crushed Peanuts
  • Chilli flakes (optional)


soak rice noodles in water for 20mins.

Mix fish sauce, tamarind mix,  sugar in half cup water. Set aside

Fry chicken breast. Remove from pan. Use the same oil to saute garlic and spring onions. put them at the side of the pan and cook the egg. keep on mixing till its cook and you see the small pieces. Put back the chicken and mix them all together. Add peanut butter and salt and pepper. Mix well. Then add noodles and bean sprouts. Add fish sauce mix. Wait till its absorbed. Finally top it with your fried tofu, crushed peanuts and a bit of spring onions.
